The 8 Sheet Cross Shredder is another example of Royal paper shredders for occasional home use. This $40, fourteen-pound machine has a one-year warranty.
There is an indicator light to let the user know when the machine is overheating or full. This paper shredder is one of the louder ones.
The Royal HT700X is apparently an example of older Royal paper shredders, and features 125" x 1.5" crosscut. It deals with staples and credit cards, has a one-year parts warranty and a four-gallon trash bin.
The shredder weighs ten pounds and can only be shipped within the US. Consumer reviews are poor, complaining that it can scarcely manage one sheet of paper at a time.
The Royal 8-Sheet Paper Shredder JS800 is a small and low cost model, at only $25. It produces quarter inch strips, and is thus not terribly secure.
It weighs seven-pounds and has a six gallon trash bin. Like many Royal paper shredders, this model can only be shipped within the US, or to APO/FPO addresses.
The machine is intended for occasional use, and needs four minutes of cool down for every two minutes of use. Despite this, the reviews were mostly positive, and for a low-end shredder it has some of the best relative reviews we’ve seen.
The Royal 7-Sheet Crosscut Paper Shredder CC75 is another relatively low-end machine. This is a $40 crosscut machine weighing fourteen pounds.
This paper shredder from Royal will turn itself off after a few minutes of use to avoid overheating, which is disconcerting to those not expecting it, and there are complaints it is top heavy.
The Royal 15-Sheet Heavy-Duty Crosscut Shredder is normally a $350 machine, but can be found for $140 online. This commercial shredder produces 1/8" x 1" confetti and can handle up to fifteen pages at a time.
On this Royal shredder there is a slot used to destroy CDs. Reviews are quite good, with the overwhelming majority pleased with the purchase.
The Royal 10-Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder is a well-regarded $60 shredder. The machine produces 1.375” x 0.16" confetti, and can shred CDs.
It can only be shipped within the US and to APO/FPO addresses. Reviews are good. Like most Royal paper shredders at this end of the market, even crosscut shredders produce strips over an inch long.
