As with any smaller shredder, the motor might need breaks in between shredding several sheets continuously. This shredder has been known to experience paper jams that are seemingly impossible to clear at times.

It is recommended that you check and empty the basket often. This Shredmaster is manufactured with plastic parts which can be risky if there is more of a medium volume need.

Heavier-duty materials could help this personal shredder be more efficient and last longer.
